When choosing a career path, you don't want that choice to be influenced by what other people think or expect of you. Be informed by love. Enthusiasm is love in action. A young man asks how to deal with the need for validation. Rupert suggests that he simply not deal with those old habits when they come. Don’t get involved with them. Because you have a passion and interest, just go to that. You don’t have to respond to the fears, expectations or a sense of duty. Your love and enthusiasm are so much stronger.
