The Portal ‘I Am’

Your attention moves from this sound to breakfast – not through time, but in consciousness – empty, mimicking time’s flow as the mind imagines it. Sensations flow from here to bedroom through awareness – not through space – yet perception makes it seem so, veiling its boundless source. In deep sleep, no time or space shines – dreaming takes time alone – waking adds space – all rising from the portal ‘I am’. This seed – the ‘I’ thought – births the world in consciousness – seems to take time – veiling eternity’s peace – yet inward, through that same gate, pure consciousness stands free.
