In this yoga of contemplation we learn to feel the body in a way that is consistent with our understanding that, ultimately, consciousness or awareness is the nature of everything. It is one thing to understand this or to subscribe to the idea of emptiness; it is another to feel the body and perceive the world in a way that is consistent with this understanding. In this yoga of contemplation, that which is contemplated merges into that which contemplates.
